Default What happen to the "UL package" for Southern Calif ???

Went to the Lexus.com site this morning to see what the ES 350 with UL package is going for now in my area. Low and behold no UL package being offered for the Orange County or S/D area. It was there on the 15th. The top package being offered now is for the Premium Plus Package. I wonder if this is only a Southern California thing or has the UL package been pulled for other area too?

FWIW - No UL’s offered across US only PP+ packages. The end of the UL?

no, it's still listed under the main ES page under options.

Thanks Dunno for pointing that out, then why under “build your ES” no UL package. Someone over there at Lexus is playing around with there web site. I’ll go stand in the corner for an hour now.

I went back and checked out there web page some more, well there you go – look on the main ES page under “Detailed Specifications” go down to “Comfort & Convenience” then down to:

Trip Computer: Includes mileage, outside temperature gauge, altimeter and barometer

I didn’t know I had a Altimeter and Barometer.

I was at a dealer today and was told that the MSRP for a UL Package was 45,079 and 49,200 OTD.

Was given a sale price of 42,597 and 46,515 OTD.

What's the best price that I can expect to pay ??

in socal's saturated market, you should be able to haggle at least 10% off.
they're spitting out so many of these cars. it's not low supply like the GS.

if you really want the car, start at 12%, and work your way to $4500 off.

UL is no longer shown in the "Build your own" for the KC, Mo area either. Very strange.

I agree with dunno. As nice as the ES350 is, when you get up into the mid to high $40's for the car, you can also start considering some other nice alternatives from other brands.

FWIW - I've seen this happen on the Toyota site too... I think they're updating and throughout this revision process they remove certain "objects" for modification... Basically what may be going on is a package revision or $$ change, they know they can deal on the floor but don't want to provide false hopes to the masses.

In my case I saw this on my Camry where the SE package option was being revised, they added dimming vanity lights into the package and some other "mixup" changes (e.g. A vs. B vs. C)... For a few days it appeared the VS wasn't offered and couldn't get charcoal interior and a few other things.

Yeah it is strange, and I count 17 (regarding PP & PP+) packages here in Orange County Zip, why so many?? Also I noticed the packages are a little different for each city or is it regions across us.
