Default Changing the oil filter

Does anyone know where the oil filter is located on the new ES350s? Is it a easy "do it yourself" task? Thanks ey88

The filter housing is easy to access, although it's a canister with an insert not a spin on. This link gives good instructions for the Avalon. The process is virtually the same for the ES 350 since it's the same power train. I've done two changes with no issues, once on a lift and once in my driveway. Prime the canister with oil before you reinstall it to minimize dry a start up.

BillP is right, this is a very easy oil change to do yourself, and you don't need to elevate your car. The canister is just forward and in from the front passenger wheel.

Default Where do you get the replacement filter elements?

Where is the best place to get replacement filter elements?
Thanks,
Steve

I bought the filter kit from the Toyota dealer for $6 (part # 04152-YZZA1). I know it's the correct part because the parts guy called the Lexus dealer to confirm.

I drained the oil and had it installed in no time. It's an easy oil change.

What weight of oil did you use?
