Default Parking Assist in ES350

I noticed that the Parking Assist in the ES350's is a slimmed down version compared to the Parking Assist on the GS and LS. The ES has only 2 sensors in the front bumper, compared to the GS that has 4, and the LS that has 6. I didn't have the chance to check the back bumper sensor layout in either the GS and LS though. That kinda sucks in my estimation since the ES doesn't give you any readings when you approach a car directly in front of you.

It seems to be more of a parallel parking assist so you don't clip one of your front corners on the car in front of you.

I agree it would be more fully useful if it was like the rear end where it senses both corners and objects directly in back (front) of the vehicle. I wonder why this functionality was decreased for the ES.

It's probably because of the price of this option.

Probably. Or that the hood of the ES is notably shorter than the GS and LS.
