Angry Lexus Dealer Obligation

Got a 2010 in November ( Smoky Granite with Grey Interior).I just put a Lip Spoiler on it and the Lexus Service Shop made me sit there for Hours to Install it ( I was told that it was a half hour -hour job at the most ? ) I purchased the Car at 24,815 Miles Pre-Owned from Dealer and the Car had a Damaged Front Right Rim that I paid $ 149.95 to Fix. Am I crazy to be Mad that I've had this Vehicle for 6 months ,spent about $ 1000 to fix it to Standards and now I'm being told to spend over $ 400 for the 30,000 Mile Maintenance. ??? Shouldn't any Respectable Dealer pick up the Cost for this ?

I don't know about your situation with the dealer but it sounds like you didn't get a CPO car? As far as the maintenance goes, you can take it to a Toyota dealership or an indy shop and save some money. No need to go to the Lexus dealership if you don't want to. Just save your receipts. You can also post the service done on your car online at lexus.com. You just need your VIN # to register.

- Lexus Memory System to control power driver's and front passenger's
seats (except lumbar), outside mirrors and steering wheel
- Rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers

just picked up(this morning) a CPO 2011 ES350.

Obsidian Exterior/black interior

Premium package/nav

only 12,000 miles on it!

Traded in my 97 LS400. Loved it, but ready for something that gets a bit better mileage, and has all the new tech.

Hello all. Just picked up an 07 ES350 with 91,000 miles. Also has 3yr/36,000mi warranty. I'm lucky enough to have a family member who is the Comptroller at the local Lexus dealership. Got the employee discount also. I'm 19 and this is the first car I've had financed.

Obsidian black/gray leather
NAV, park assist, sunshade, rear view camera, auto wipers, etc. I'm assuming its the premium plus package it has everything but the UL options.
I previously drove a 98 Grand Prix with 116k miles. I bought it for $3500 when I was 16 and basically drove it into the ground, as most kids do with their first car.

Look forward to being a part of the forum!

Cheers

Default 2012 es350

Hello all,

I just picked up a CPO 2012 ES350 with 13.5k miles at Kuni Lexus in Greenwood Village, CO. I am the first non-corporate owner, as it was a dealer-owned loaner for folks getting their cars serviced. Or at least that's what they told me, and Carfax seems consistent with the story... It seems to be a mid-line trim level, not the Ultra Luxury package.
  • Satin Cashmere Metallic
  • Cooled/heated tan power leather seats
  • Tan and brown-gray interior trim, with tan carpet
  • Brown-orange wood trim
  • Navigation system
  • Moonroof
  • Auto climate control
  • Heated mirrors that tilt down when you reverse (nice!)
  • Etc, etc, etc

Our son just moved to Texas, so we wanted a good road car for making the long trip back and forth between Colorado Springs and Austin. This is by far the quietest, smoothest, most comfortable car I have owned.

1st post.
Purchased on 7/13/13 an 07 Smoky Granite Mica ES350 with UL package and ML sound. 52,000 on the clock. Got a 4 year 60,000 mile warranty with it. Is there an option for all of this wood? Looks better in person than in pics. Very nice upgrade over the plastic imo.

Welcome to CL the car looks nice.

I believe the wood in your car is one of the aftermarket kits that are out there and not a factory option.

All of the wood in Lexus vehicles, including the ES, is real wood.

Default 2010 es350

Just joined the club with a 2010 truffle mica with nav, afs, backup camera and body side molding with 21000 miles. one owner lease return with all services completed on time. parchment interior with all the wood trim. moved up from an 07 Avalon which was a very nice car but Lexus is even nicer. smoother ride and better handling. love the backup cam and the nav, especially the Bluetooth. cooled seats are nice in this heat.

Looking to return my 2011 ES350 lease. May get a 2014 ES350 but am also looking at the BMW328i. My wife drove the Mercedes C300 and did not like the ride. The ES350 has a much smoother ride surprisingly. After looking around we may just stick with the ES
