ES 350 colors
Has anyone seen the aquamarine color on the 2007 Lexus ES 350 in person? I have one ordered and hope that it doesn't look like the color on the Lexus website. I am anxious to know how it looks. Mine is supposed to be in any time after tomorrow. Thanks for you input.

Dont use the Lexus build site to get a good example of how the color looks. It is highly distorted.
If you havent seen any actual pics of the car heres a couple...

Hubby is really interested in the aquamarine. The one above looks nice, the one on the website when you "build" is a horrible cheap shade of green.
We asked to see aquamarine, and our dealer was nice enough to check out other Lexus dealers in the area on our request so we could have a look. The closest ones with that color were over 60 miles away, and we didn't make it there.
He also checked and said there were NO aquamarines coming into the area - the original ones were part of the Lexus standard new vehicle model shipment, and no aquamarines were getting ordered from the district dealers themselves. It seems like if we wanted that color we would have to special order.
I wonder if the dealers have been turned off by the color on the Lexus site, or if they have ever seen it on a car. BTW, the car above looks a lot like the other blue- are we sure it is aquamarine?

Looked at one today
I went to get the oil changed today on my 2006 ES and they had three NEW ES350's on the lot. One of them was the Aquamarine. Its looks GREAT. Nothing like the color on the web Site.
The Three colors they had was the Aguamarine Pearl, Clue Onyx Pearl, and the Amber Pearl. All three had the Cashmere Leather interior. They actually had a fourth being delivered to a customer that was the Smokey Granite Mica. The Smokey Granite was really hot but had the Light Gray interior. OF the colors they had i liked the Smokey Granite the best, but it doen not come with the Cashmere interior.
The Aquamarine and the Amber Pearl were very nice. Its a darker color than whats shown on the website. Infact, When my lease is up i am going to get either the Aquamarine or the Amber Pearl. I am a really big fan of the Cashmere interior, i think it looks very classy and upscale.
To be honest, i was a little disapointed when the car was first introduced. I didnt think much of the new interior, but after a while it started to grow on me. Now that i have seen it in person i can honestly say i LOVE this car. The interior is very impressive in person, not to mention that the exterior is much sportier, and has more character than the pictures show. This is a very impressive car.

Thanks, Badgis. I talked to my salesman today and he said my car should be coming in this week. When I get it, I will post pictures. Now I am concerned about possible transmission problems and will be asking the salesman about them. I guess I am just a bit nervous because this is my first Lexus. I have had 3 Acura TL's most recently. I hope I like my Lexus as well as I have liked my Acuras!
