Default Increase Horsepower?

What's are the easiest and cheapest ways I can increase the horsepower in my ES? I was thinking cold air intake... But I don't know the cost.

Ahh yes. More research needs to be done here for sure! There is NO "chip" upgrade for any Toyota/Lexus ECU. Toyota ECU's are pre-programmed at the factory for optimal efficiency. There is no "chip" upgrade for the ECU since it's totally sealed. The only option for HP increase are the common intake, exhaust and such of course going the custom route since there is no specific made intake, exhaust or header for your vehicle. The SEARCH option will help answer many of your questions that have been answered in previous posts.

Thanks,
Mod.

Just like to add on.

And of the three options availible, two are not going to make a large hunk of differances CAI is cheap to DIY.

Really if you want any more it appears you have to get into big engine work.

I know that RS Akimoto makes an intake for the Lex. I noticed that a few sites no longer carry them. Autosportz.com for example. I did find a decent looking site claiming to have one. For some reason they only have the 97-01 variety (colors).

I found another one for 92-96

I have a pair of 1MZFE heads available if anyone is interested in doing a port and polish or valve job. I also have the block and various other parts. I don't know much about Lexus/Toyota engines, so I'm a little unsure as to how far anyone has gotten into one of these things.
