window rubber!
i have a problem with the black rubber running all the way around the windows under the chrome lining. a litlte piece of the rubber is hanging off but still in tact on the back door of the drivers side. i already tried crazy glu is there any special rubber glue i can apply to fix it? or do i have to replace the whole rubber for that door?

Are you talking about the rubber piece as shown and circled below (on my previous '96 ES)? I don't remember how long I had that kind of problem, but I try not to let it bother me that much. I took it to the dealership anyway one time, and they said they would have to replace the entire rubber assembly, which in itself I decided it was not worth the money and hassle.
For your case nysupra, I think you'd need a special and very strong rubber epoxy to repair the affected rubber piece. You can probably find that in Home Depot. Once the epoxy is applied, you should clamp it with a C-clamp or similar, and let it cure overnight at least. This is all in all just a suggestion, so don't hold my words to it

check at the local auto store, in the section with the flowable silicone and stuff like that...there should be an adhesive tube made by 3M, can't remember the name off the top of my head, but it's like a rubber adhesive, meant exactly for what you need. look around in the store or ask the ppl there...if for some reason you still can't find it i'll post the name later tonight when i get a chance to look at it...
