i've seen many cars with crappy tint, thats why im asking. not sure if its due to weather that it falls apart or just crappy qulaity from the beginning. my guess is that its bound to happen - you put thin layer of plastic on top of glass and then deep freeze it a few times - it will crack and bubble eventually.

If so, just as the window would... you know, like on the millions of cars on the road with tints.

Default Looking for a picture of a ES300/330 Alabaster Metallic with tints

Considering to get some tints for some privacy. Only problem for some reason I think it would look weird on the car because of the color Alabaster Metallic. Anybody have some pics of the Alabaster Metallic with tinted windows? Thanks

Here's a pic for you. The car has 5% all around so it may be a bit darker than you're looking for.

I'd personally go for 20% rear. 5% limo tint decreases visibility at night time.

You're looking at $200+ from most shops...

Just call or stop by a couple of local or nearby shops, tell them what you have and what you want and they'll give you an estimate or firm price. I think the $150-$200 already mentioned for a good job will be close.
