Default Passenger window goes down without switch press - '99 ES300

Hey guys, I have a problem with the passenger front window on my '99 ES300. I have to keep the window lock switch ON because otherwise, the passenger front window automatically goes down. The switch for it on the master assembly can stop it in its tracks, but can't move it back up. The switch on the passenger door seems override that, and can move it up, but it auto-downs if I let go if that switch.

So to get it closed I have to hold the passenger door switch until it's up, then reach over and hit the window lock switch on the driver's door.

Anybody experience this?

Thanks as usual.

Could be broken/shorted wires in the door looms, bad windows switches or both. I'd disconnect the passenger side switch first to see if the problem stops.

Could be some spirit who is stuck between the realm of the living and dead and prefers to spend their existence in your awesome car. Refer to your Lexus service manual for further troubleshooting.

Hah, good call. I pulled it off and the driver-side switch is operating the window just great. I'll get a replacement passenger switch assembly from the Pick-n-pull. Thanks!

Lol, Lexus poltergeist. Sounds more like something you would find in a BMW, or FCA product.
