'95 ES300 ignition hesitation
I changed the starter somewhat recently. Does anyone know what might be causing my car to not want to start at times. It takes multiple tries sometimes and giving it some gas. Which part of the ignition system do I need to start with? I figure this is probably common.

Does this usually occur when cold starting/raining or just randomly happens.
Does this happen once then it is good after once it is started?
When's the last time you replaced your spark plugs?

Seems to happen at random or maybe whenever my wife is in the car with me. The weather does not make a difference as far as I can tell. I have not had it die on me once on the road that I recall.

To answer the other question that I previously missed, I have not changed the spark plugs. I have had the car a little over a year. I need to see if the place I got it from had changed any of the ignition components. Thank you!
