Speed Governer Removal
#16
I have Lexus ES330 and was able to hit 140 which is its max so i don't think they have a governor. Newer once do as their max is 160+ they are limited to 140 or so. Few things to consider. 1) This car is not made for this speed, it takes flat straight road and a while to get there. 2) At 140 i was redlining so i stepped off the gas asap, if you wanna blow the engine be my friend. 3) This car is so not safe for these speeds. This car already feels like a boat in sharp corners with a lot of lean and anything more than avg turn at that speed will most likely result in loss of control or you just flipping the car. Trust me im 24 and like speed but this is not the car for it.

ok, well, if you want to remove the speed governor on your es300 it's actually pretty simple.
just connect a very good electrical cable to the battery positive side, then locate the diagnostic port on the engine, find pins, TE1 and E1, and W. Apply power to all three at once in ten pulses of 2-4 seconds. once done, the ecu will no longer be capable of speed governing.

I believe that the first amendment protects speech like this. Unless you can find a victim from the stated action, theres not much of a case here. I have run my car to 126 mph. New record set - 132 mph. This car has better than expected go power when you hit the go pedal. It still felt like it had room.
