Default ES300 Oil in air filter housing?

I'm getting oil in the housing, looks like it's coming from this hose. Any idea as to the culprit?

Also, I'm going to need a new air hose, the picture on the right. What's the official name? Is it the air cleaner intake hose?

Thanks.

that's a breather hose, and it's perfectly normal for oil to pass from that into the intake and be burnt by the engine. If you don't like that you can install a 'catch can', and seal the port on the intake.

Maybe, but there's an awful lot of oil in the intake assembly. Pourable amounts, not merely sludge. Doesn't seem right.

And yes, I know I need a new hose, do you know what it's called?

Also Check or if pat due than change your PCV valve.

The PCV checked out but for $5 I'll replace it and hope for the best.

If your PCV checked out, and it's a Lexus brand, than it's preferable to leave it, than to buy, an unknown $5.00 part.

Original Lexus/Toyota PCVs are around $15.00 or less.

The way to get a lot of oil in the intake system from the PCV hose is by having a pressure issue with blowby gases. Now "a lot" is a relative term. I would start with the easiest thing first: replace your throttle body intake pipes. Get a new PCV valve from Toyota. And finally clean out your throttle body and intake system. Then monitor for a few months to see how much oil is passing through.

You're looking for 17881 Hose, Air Cleaner

https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dl...leaner-7485869

Go to www.lexuspartsnow.com and input your VIN for the correct part number match. Look under Engine-Air Cleaner.

Does anyone know the part # or name for the 2 hoses going into the intake box? I thought I had ordered the right part from RockAuto, but they sent the bigger hose. Thanks.

I did see it. The part number you list - 17881 - is the same as RockAuto's part number. I didn't want to order another one that's the wrong size.

Has it caused any noticeable driveability problems?

I'm not sure. The car has been getting CEL code P1135 and 1155 and running a bit rough. While replacing both sensors - and still getting the CEL, I noticed the oil in the intake and the cracked hose - I'm hoping correcting this might help eliminate the code.

That's the prefix of the complete part number. It basically designated the part number family. You need to input your VIN into a parts dealer's website, such as www.lexuspartsnow.com to get the exact one your car needs.
