ES300 Glove Box
Help Folks - This glove box removal is kicking my butt.Have kick panel out , two lower covers off and took out 6 screws out of the bottom of the glove box door. Can't get anything to release from this point. Gotta get that ECU out to get the numbers off it to order a new one. I'm close to the 5 pound hammer removal tool. Any tips/tricks will be appreciated.. This is totally over engineered - had the glovebox out of my Suburban in 5 minutes to get at the heater motor!

Glove box out
Thanks - got the glove box out last night. Book said to take out screws - so the old man is going by the book looking for screws upside down with a mirror and flashlight. finally saw that the things I thought were rubber bumpers were in fact black castle nuts. And finally got the ECU out - hasn't seen the light of day for 24 years. New ECU on the way - wish me luck that it fixes my baby!
