Default Exhaust diagram.

i have a 1999 Lexus ES300 and a 1997 Lexus ES300, I was wondering if some one could show me the exhaust diagram. I'm pretty sure the catalytic converters are out. Can someone please show me the diagram for both cars if possible.

The '99 Y-pipe and catalytic are one piece on the '97 the cat is part of the center pipe. That's probably what you were wondering about.

Yes, thank you. Do you think I should take it to a muffler shop or would it be cheaper if I bought the parts and did it my self?

Would I just have to replace the one on the header or is there another one too?

I may have been wrong about the differences. Looking at the diagrams I see conflicting info you'll have to crawl under the car and have a look. FYI to see diagrams Google toyo diy (register an account, free)

It's the other way around. They moved the main cat to the center section post 99 and got rid of the flex joint.

To OP, go to an exhaust shop, there is too much rust to do it yourself.
