2000 Lexus ES300 can't fill gas tank
Hi! Went to fill my gas tank and the pump shut off after a minute or so, repeatedly. Finally got the whole tank filled but slowly. Gas spurted out at times too. Any ideas? Came on suddenly.

Solved! There was a spider's nest in the tube that the gas fumes come out of. The nest blocked the fumes causing the sensor on the gas pump to read full and would not put gas in. Mechanic cleaned out and no problems. He was very surprised!
