Water jacket coolant leak
Ive noticed coolant leaking around water jacket next to oil filter area on the front of the engine. Is there gasket/kit that can be replaced to fix that?
Thanks

There is no such thing as a "water jacket" gasket only thing I can think of that can leak in that area is the head gasket, or maybe the upper rad hose is leaking and coolant is making its way to that area. You have a 1996 ES correct?

Did you mean oval plate like thing with 2 nuts? That is the only thing I can think of near/above oil filter. Its a water plate for block heater. If yes, it does not have gasket. Use RTV/toyota FIPG.

I forgot about that plate (most Canadian cars have a block heater).
