Default 04 ES 330 Engine questions

Car has 220k on it. Did regular maintenance services ect, on way to last oil change, the yellow light oil indicator and the red one came on. Car stalled while driving when it happened, threw it in neutral started right back up, did it again with the light s a few miles down the road. Mechanic is telling me it needs a new motor? I've had car since 08, maintenance services always done on time, no issues what so ever, should I take it to the dealer for a second opinion? Has anyone else have both oil lights come on?

You are an idiot.
1. The lights came on for a reason. You should have stopped immediately, find out what those lights are telling you, fix the issues if needed.
2. Read your owner's manual. You are suppose to check all fluid levels regularly even in between services. The older an engine is, the faster fluids get consumed or leak out.
3. One of the lights is oil level. The other light is oil pressure. Once again, owner's manual has that information.
4. You don't need a second opinion. The engine is very likely seized because of oil starvation. You kept driving when there is no engine oil. You will need to rebuild your engine or get another engine.
5. Read your owner's manual.
