Speakers stopped playing music in '95 es300
Any idea why all four would stop working? They do, however, make a static/crackling sound on occasion. Thoughts?

No sound from any source? Assuming there is not a power problem that sounds like the amp packed it in.

I'd agree with the amp going.
The head unit can turn on nice and dandy, and it also controls the power antenna.
The head unit sends an audio signal to the amp that powers the speakers. If there's no sound but the other stuff works, highly likely it's the amplifier. I believe it is located behind the glove box. (You take out the glove box with some clips and screws, and the amp is hanging around back there.) Unsure though because I have a '98.

You can test the head unit by using a cheap pair of headphones or earbuds connect them to the pre outputs you should get sound. You can use an aftermarket amp if you want search this site for wiring diagrams the colours are generally the same between years.
this site if good for finding amps and conversion harnesses
