Default AC Blower fan intermittent

My AC (heater) fan is not working. When it does work, I can get all fan speeds. The issue has been intermittent, AC works in the morning (when it's cooler). I drive to work (in Texas) in the morning. When I come out after 9 hours fan will not work. I can hear the AC compressor working though. If I drive for a while, it sometimes will automatically starts. Other times it will work if I drive for 10 minutes, Stop the car, and restart and it will work. I've googled the problem and searched the forums. Understand that there is a blower motor and blower resistor. Their both semi expensive. Any thoughts? (BTW, I work in Dallas and have been by the infamous Sewell dealership. It's huge, Nice folks too.

I had a similar problem but with my sub cooling fan coming on. You might want to check your relay whith a ohm meter and for visual damage.
For me it was the relay. See also.
