I've noticed that after heavy rain the drivers side carpet is wet on our 1990 ES250 . Since the rubber mat on top is dry and so is the headliner it's not the sunroof directly leaking. I'm guessing that either the sunroof or scuttle drains may be blocked. Anyone know where these drains empty out?

There are 3 drains, one that terminates at the bottom of the quarter panel pocket and two that travel along the A-pillars and end up at the bottom of the fenders. For the front ones you should be able to see the hoses by removing the kick panel covers. Is your windshield in good shape no cracks? Poor installations tend to leak in the upper corners this can drip down and soak the carpeting.
