I am happy to report that she runs, drives, and now has cold air!

Now to tackle a new issue that arose after the car was warm and was driven around 7 miles...lower radiator hose and the radiator fan's high pressure line.

You probably don't want to sink the money into it for cosmetics, but you could get away with just repainting the top surfaces and have a great looking car as the rest of it looks extremely presentable (maybe pick up a front grill too haha).

That's an awesome $200 Lexus. I'm guessing you guys are Lexus techs. I remember you asking for possible solutions to your starting issue, glad you got it running. Keep us posted on what else you decide to do with it.

Thanks all!

Negatory on being Lexus techs, just a couple of Lexus enthusiasts!

Awesome find. ES3000 can run for a long time. I bought mine (94 ES300) in May 2015 with 140,000 km from my co-worker. Had to fix a few minor things, other than that, it is a fun car to drive. Better than driving my wife's MB.

Glad you saved her from the junker!!! If it runs good and doesn't burn oil, you should get another 50-100k easy out of that engine. Sounds pretty healthy from the video you posted and would make a great beater now that you fixed the a/c

Not a single breath of smoke from the tailpipe. I am beginning to wonder if this is the original engine or not. It runs too well!
