Over heating 94 Lexus ES300
I have a 94 Lexus ES300. It started over heating on the highway so I pulled over, checked my fluids which they we're all fine, turned the heater on full blast to see if it would cool down. The heater works great, but didn't cool down so I **** it off. The fan I can hear working, but haven't actually looked. I let it sit for an hour and turned it back on. It leveled out. I drove it 8 miles or so and it stayed level, however the engine light came on. I bought a new thermostat and changed it out, drained my coolant and put coolant and water mix in. I start my car and let it sit for 20 min. The temp gauge leveled. Took it not even a mile and it started to over heat again. What do you think?
