1999 ES300 standard stereo unit. LCD shot. Can't find the replacement LCD anywhere. My unit has P1705 on the cassette door. Will the P1726 unit work on the 1999? If not, what is the highest revision that will work on the 1999?

I can get a whole working P1726 replacement unit for about $50.

Not sure what that number means. I have a spare broken radio for a 98 that says P1713.

I know the electrical plugs were different after the refresh, not sure if your 99 falls into that, only way to check is to pull the radio out.

Pioneer sells a replacement LCD for about $120, maybe find a repair shop that can fix yours.

Follow up to my original post:
1997-1999 will have radios with a part number range (located on the cassette door) of P1705 - P1713. Any in this range are interchangeable. The Pioneer P/N is KEX-M8066ZT, part number 86120-33060 or 86120-22061.
2000-2002 will have radios with a part number range (located on the cassette door) of P1715 - P1726. Any in this range are interchangeable. The Pioneer P/N is KEX-M8196ZT, part number 86120-33370.

The LCD replacement for the KEX-8066ZT IS NOT available from Pioneer any longer.

I went to Pick n Pull and found a P1713 from a 1999 ES300 for $15.99. Tested it right there in the parking lot. If it doesn't work, they will give you store credit or replacement. The one I got worked fine and looks great after I got it home and cleaned it up.
