Hey everyone ! Hows it going
I have a 1997 lexus es300 and my seats look like absolute ****
My local Pull-A-Part salvage yard got a super mint 2001 Lexus es300 that was OBVIOUSLY well taken care of.
I talked the manager there to give me the rear bench seat, and the front passenger and drivers seats for $98.00 !!
Before I purchase I just want to confirm that electrically everything will work (heated buttock warmer, air bag, seat belt sensor, etc etc)

Has anyone ever put a different year seat in their es300 ?

Also....while I am at it, what other parts should I check out that are more updated in the 2001 model ?
The manager and I have been friends for quite some time so he would hook me up....but idk what else to look for.

The seats are different 2000-2001 (not sure exactly how different) but what you can probably do is bolt the seat cushions to your frame. I would grab them worse case you can put the upholstery itself onto your frames.

That is a steal for $98. My 98 only needs driver seat but am not able to find a good one here in TX.
From the 2001, you can get the tail lights if interested. They look nicer. See if the wheels are any better. You can get the front armrest.

If I recall there is one extra wire on the 00-01 ES harness going from the memory control computer under the seat to the memory mirrors. This was a new option in 00-01 that 97-99 didn't have.
