Hello, hoping someone might have some insight to my issues. The transmission was rebuilt on my car and after driving it for a couple of months it failed again. the 1 - 2 shift is binding and has a harsh 2 - 3 shift. Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar? Our troubleshooting leads us to believe it is an ECU issue but it's proving to be very difficult to find a used ECU with key for repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Isn't your rebuilt transmission still under warranty?

I would not be so quick to blame the PCU. A good rule in evaluating an issue is "what did we change last?" If you rebuilt the transmission, look inside that. Also very unlear what a "binding" shift means?

Did you or they replace all the solenoids or re-use them? I have not rebuilt one of these transmission (I have others), but this kind of behavior would make we look at the diagram to see if there is a solenoid uniquely activated on those two shifts. I know in others that is indeed the case.
