'95 ES300 "OD off" light comes on and goes off

Check engine light is on. I know I have a code that usually shows O2 sensor needed. My "OD off" light is flashing. Not sure why. Anyone have this happen?

Check codes again. Flashing O/D OFF light means there's a problem with the transmission. Usually a busted shift solenoid, but not always.

As suggested check for codes. What maintenance has been done since you last posted this 10 months ago, did you change the O2 sensor?

I changed the alternator followed shortly after by the battery. The O/D light was flashing before that. Is the solenoid difficult to change?

No, I have not yet changed out the O2 sensors.
