Gear shifter bulb replacement - ES330 2005
Hi all, my first post here. I checked the sticky post, but wasn't able to find solution to my problem.
The letters on the gear shifter of my ES330 2005 are not lit anymore. There are no other issues and I believe the bulb needs to be replaced, however, I am not sure how to remove the casing to reach the bulb. I only got this far. I assume the blue cable in the bottom right corner leads to the bulb.
Any tips in what needs to be done are very welcome.
Thank you!!

I just recently did this on my ES330. Unscrew the **** from the gear selector and then separate the gray plastic piece from the black piece. It's held on by 4 clips. I used a flat head screw driver to gently pry it apart. After that lift it up and turn it over. You should see the bulb underneath. Hope this helps.

Should I simply push the screwdriver in the green marked spot and pull the screwdriver (any direction, in or out?). I am a bit afraid not to break the plastic.

Yes the spot you have marked is one of the clips I'm referring to. I believe I wedged the screwdriver in the green circled area and gently pushed outwards on the black piece while pulling up on the silver trim. Once you free 2 clips on one side the 2 on the other side are really easy. Just take your time man. I was afraid of breaking something too lol.

Thank you all for the great support. I successfully replaced the bulb with the #74 Sylvania.
The bulb's head was a bit bigger than the original one, but if fit the socket perfectly.
