Speedometer, odometer not working

I dont think its the connections-- they seem fine. Ive read in some places that the wheel speed sensor could also contribute to the issue? is that possible?
edit: The reason I mentio this is because when I did the brakes and rotors, the caliper bracket fell off the block i set it on. I always had a hunch that the jerking motion may have broken the speed sensor. Not sure.

So Im hoping someone could help me verify something.
I found a guide that has you test the connections at the ECU and the plug. They look good. I get continuity and I get 18V. The diagnostic states I should get 9-12v so that may be suspect.
I also checked for voltage at the 3-prong connector. I get a solid 12V with the keys in the ignition and turned on (engine isnt started). However, for the 2-prong connector, I get continuity but I DONT get voltage. Could anyone verify if I should get voltage with the keys in the ignition but the engine not running?

My speedometer stopped working when I began having ABS problems. Have you noticed any problems with the ABS? Like it activating at slow speeds or during a turn. My speedometer resumed working after I corrected the ABS problem. If interested see this link for my problem https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...mil-p0500.html

Braking feels ok and doesnt seem suspect.
So a minor update, I took it to a reputable electrician, poked around for a few hours and determined it must be the cluster. I decided to go to another salvage yard and try another cluster and sure enough, it worked. Odometer came back up right away. However, its about 60,000 miles more than my own so I need to swap chips.
However, when I was driving off, the car was slow to shift and the same dang P0500 code came up when it stuck in first for too long. I had already replaced the sensors with a salvage yard's car, so I put my old ones back in and it didnt fix the issue. I had to reassemble my 3-wire speed sensor when I erroneously took it apart. There was a spring/bearing in there so maybe something happened to that?
Im going to try and replace the 3-wire speed sensor and see if this resolves the issue. I feel like it will never end.

For me, it was the cluster. I swapped it out for one at the salvage yard. I also replaced the salvage odo chip with my own so I could retain my own miles. For the ES300, the speedo and odo are tied together.
I got the voltmeter out and tested every connection at the speed sensors and every connection at the ECU. I was getting good grounds, good resistance, good voltage.
If you arent handy with a voltmeter, I'd recommend learning. If you dont want to learn, I'd be ready to shell out $100-200 at an electrician to shake down the issue.

Odometer/Tachometer not working - Fixed
Had the same issue with tachometer/speedometer/fuel Gage not working. That's what I did:
1.Tested alternator - good
2.Checked all the fuses - all good
3. Removed the ip cluster and found a connection that was loose. Removed connector, cleaned all the pins, reattached - Gages are working just fine since then.

I have a problem with the
speed sensor ?
speed sensor
, (the rpm reading is ok) of my ls400 1990, it does not read and the mechanic tells me it is the speed sensor, could someone give me the part number of this and where I can buy it. thank you very much (see pictures)

You didn't say what the problem is. You said the rpm is reading ok and that's it. Need to know what the problem is that you are having. Is the MPH moving? Is the odometer counting? Are both working? Neither working?

My speedometer works intermittently for the past 2 years. Originally it would be zero upon the start of a drive, then would rise and read accurately. Recently, it is becoming more prevalent and the tachometer occasionally does not register. However, the tach generally operates after a few minutes but the speedometer remains on zero. Suggestions?

I would try replacing the cluster, do you have a CEL?
