I agree with mugencivic on the color, but it's all about what Hartlex31 wants, because he's putting in all that work. If you wanted, your key illumination ring, stereo, and climate control lighting can be changed to red LEDs (the factory stereo is the hardest to change). The clock would still be green, though. That roof is so damn shiny, too.

I tried replacing my climate control with white leds but it had a green tint to it

HELLLLPPPP GUYS!! I've been in search of a auto shift **** with overdrive to swap out with the factory one. I've done research but everything I've come across looks like complete *** or would have to eliminate overdrive all together. As far as the interior goes i can see where it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea when it's individual pieces but trust me, I did a similar setup in one of my best friends GS I built for him and it looks DOPE!!

^^^ okay, now that does look dope lol. if the stitching on the pattern was black, it would of added a bit more contrast.

As for the shifter, i don't think there is any decent looking ones. I did see someone put a bubble shifter on a 1st gen LS but he never mentioned where he put the OD button. maybe if you relocated the button to the panel (where the PRND21 sits). I've been thinking a lot about the process of possibly doing that, but I haven't have time lately to take the panel off to see if it will work.

It's nice to see someone putting money into an ES and doing it the right way, regardless of the style.

The foam on the driver's side front seat is completely gone. The cost to get new foam backs from lexus I can get a used seat in way better condition. That's what I'll do, then get custom replacement seat skins for front, rear and console armrest.

Welcome to Club Lexus and thanks for sharing your amazing build with us! Looks like it's coming along quite nicely. Stuff is getting done fast! Can't wait to see the finished product

Oh and by the way, are you doing this all on your own or do you have someone helping you out?

I'm doing everything except recovering the seats myself.
