Default numbers

Why are the Kmh numbers larger than the mph numbers? Is that in all the 98's? My 95 is the opposite.

Originally the car in question was probably a Canadian model or a car manufactured to be shipped to a country that uses Kmh rather than Mph in the display.

Yep, Canadian-spec models have the Km/h as the primary scale. They also have headlight washers, and received DRL's (due to Canadian law) long before Lexus included them on US-spec cars.
