Shifting problem - P0330 code
2001 ES300 - CEL &TRAC OFF lights are on- diag P0330-knock sensor code.
Trans. shifts into high gear one time only after driving and come to a complete stop. Turning engine off, restarting, resume driving will again shift into high gear only once, wont go further than 3rd gear. Help!

Another possible cause is your o2 sensors are reading incorrectly. Those are much cheaper and easier to replace. If you have a obii adapter you can check your o2 sensors to see if they are working properly.
There may be a few other causes which I'm sure someone will chime in.

Explains how to bypass the 3rd gear with a knock sensor code. Just remember you are taking full responsibility if anything were to happen when performing this "trick".
