Default Es 300 99

Dear Experts,
I'm hoping to find someone who might have heard of this problem/symptom, and know the solution.
I have a 99 Lexus ES300, with about 175K miles now. Automatic transmission. I am a second owner and bought it 10 years ago.
This past week, I left the light ON and it wouldn't even start with a boost. So I changed the battery.
After replacing the battery, the engine starts fine but nothing else came ON, on the dashboard( no lights, radio, keyless entry, windows nothing works). Also I couldn't change the gear from park to revise or drive. It is stuck on P. The engine seems to start fine..
Does anyone know what would be the cause and/or solution would be? I'm hoping that it will be something simple like an electrical issue.
Thanks a lot!

Are both your pos battery cables connected? There's one from the starter and one from the fuse box. You should have two ground cables connected as well.

You should have two red and two black cables connected to your battery

Check for battery corrosion, then blown fuses.

Sounds like the Body ECU isn't getting power to power the interior components, including the Brake-Park over ride relay to shift gears.

Battery is brand new and no visible corrosion. Fuses are fine too. Engine starts fine nothing else works.

You check the fuses behind the change holder as well?
Maybe a relay went bad?

Check the two connections going to the white box under the dash around where the OBDII port is. Thats the body ECU that controls all the interior components, locks, windows, lights, dash, chime, remote, etc.
