You could also make your speedometer read like that by jacking up the front end(or rear end), starting the engine, putting it in drive and flooring the accelerator. hehehe!

why is the traction control off? do you always turn it off when you drive?
I think amf1932 is on the right track. the car is up in the air, the traction control quit out cause it overheated when it tried to control the tire spinning or it was shut off deliberately so it wouldn't try to control the wheel movement while pegged with no load on the tire itself. Maybe the tires aren't even on the car and it is just rotors spinning. Maybe that is why the rpm is not matching the speed. I would think that the rpm would be higher than 5400 at >140 mph.
I also think that this thread has become pointless.
ESES, if this is actual and you want to drive foolishly, just I pray that you don't hurt yourself....or anyone else.
