Default 2000 ES300 - Front/Rear strut lifespan

Our 2000 ES300 with 83,500 miles still has the original struts on all four corners. The ride is still fine and the car primarily see's local road and occasional highway miles. I just replaced the brake pads and rotors yesterday and checked the existing struts for noticeable leaks, nothing was found. My question is are these original struts way past there expected lifespan and should be replaced. I was thinking of getting the Monroe setup that included the cartridge/springs and hardware in one unit.

Comments appreciated.
