Default How to get to Ignition Coil #5

Having a misfire that's coming from my ignition coil #5. Need step by step help getting to the coil. Thank you

If you only have to access #5 you can probably just remove the TB and leave the air plenum alone. However, sometimes codes are off a cylinder and it would be good to have access to #3.

When car is cool, just reach behind there. Tight but you can do it. Heck you can see from the TB side.

Are you talking about your 96 ES300? Major difference between a 96 and 03.

OP, what year is your ES?

If you've got the 1999 ES300 then you can reach the plug behind the plenum. You might have to remove the air hoses.

You may be right although just because you can do it on a Camry does not mean you can do it on an ES300. In either case, the 03 ES with the plastic plenum is a totally different animal.
