I managed to mash the little compartment that covers the fuse box, just to the left of the steering wheel in my 1999 ES300. I've been trying to track one down on ebay, but I think I might be using the wrong search terms. Anyone have any idea what it's called?

The official part name is coin box but that was not helpful for searching on Ebay. If you're really desperate you could buy it from Lexus

Try looking up "Auxiliary box". I just snapped the little plastic "hand" that clips it to the underside of the dash. Also, behind that aux box is a fuse box. Just a little FYI.

If you don't use it constantly, use some gorilla glue to re-attach the clip and clamp it overnight. Should be plenty strong to re-install it.
