Default How many miles have YOU PERSONALLY put on your ES?

I have driven about 90k on my 1995 ES which has about 121k on the clock. I want to know if anyone has me beat. I see lots of ESs here with more total miles, but it doesn't count unless you put the miles on yourself. Anybody can buy a car with already high mileage - but that's no accomplishment. I want to know who else has EARNED IT THE HARD WAY.

Who, if anyone, has me beat???

I guess I can attest to this...

Before I recently traded in my '96 ES with 128K on the clock, I personally put in 96,XXX miles in the last 4 years. This is really nothing compared to my old neighbor's Civic, who puts in 400+ miles per day of commute, and currently closing in on 400,000 miles

I bought a brand new ES300 in Feb, 1996. The car was just delivered to the dealership since the interior was still covered in plastic wrap. The odometer had 3 miles on it. Nobody else has ever driven my car except for the Lexus service department folks during my routine maintenance visits. I now have 111,000 miles on the car and it still runs like new. I'm thinking about getting a new RX330, but intend to keep the ES since it is such a great car.

Post 115k

my dad had the ES custom done in 93. He got 1 tone Burgandy with all the options. He bought it brand new off the lot with only 1.5miles on it. He still remembers that day. Before giving it to me he had driven approx. 115,000 miles on it. The odometer says 131,000 now,so i guess i've driven about 16,000 miles. Baby still drives like new and still looks new.

And I thought I was the bad one here!!! I've put in 6,000 miles since I bought my baby girl january 13th 2003. It was at 76,225 when I took her home. Now she's around 82,280. Man I gotta slow down. I want to keep her for a few more years. I didn't expect I'd be doing this much driving but hell, its an impossible car to resist. Everyday, she just wants to go out and drive. No problems since purchase other than new brakes and tires needed.
