The Ebay listing does not include the OCV screen filters and crush washers right?

And why are my oil control valve(s) bad? Is this my fault or just common wear and tear from age?

I highly doubt the filters and crush washers would be included.

the O-Rings I'm not too sure though, as the OCV might be sold complete so they may include them.

I'm just guessing, I guess you won't know why they failed until you take them out and inspect them.

But I have a feeling that they fail either because they got sticky (oil residue buildup?) hence they have a screen filter.

Other possibility, like other electronic components like solenoids, they just fail over time.

Called Lexus and Toyota today...dang they want crazy $$$ for these parts. I would be spending close to $250 for everything total.

Lol this message comes up on the compatibility chart but i guess those part numbers are all mixed up like you said. I trust you to not have me buying something that wont work...i hope you're right!

This part is not compatible with 2000 Lexus ES300 Base Sedan 4-Door 3.0L 2995CC V6 GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated.

So I ordered the Ebay link that Lexus2000 posted earlier
and 2 ocv ring seals, 2 gaskets, 2 filters. I used the part numbers that 808 gave from mylparts.com

Anything else I need for this job?

Here are the original part numbers
15340-20010
15330-20010

Punch those into this site as an example it says 15340-20010 is replaced by 15340-20011 and that part is replaced by 15340-0A010.

I am not responsible if that site is wrong but they are hooked into the Lexus parts system so I believe it is correct.

Which OCV in that Ebay link is the one that goes on closest up front of the car? Will i know right away if its the wrong one or will it bolt right in?

Is there anything Lexus specific work when putting these on? My friend has replaced them but never on a Lexus.

just compare the one that's on the car, from what I understand they look the same except the angle of the Electrical connector is angled differently.

If you put in the wrong one you won't be able to plug in the electrical connector.

Good thing i ordered O rings. They were NOT included with the Ebay OCV's.

My friend told me the OCV's should come with some slimy stuff to lubricate them and i guess slide them in better (lol). No package of lube but they almost slipped out of my hand when i inspected them. They applied something slick to them already.

.
I have some questions from reading that thread...

Do i need to go on a long drive after changing the OCV's?

So theres a possibly my CAT may be damaged from all this?

There seems to be all kinds of follow up stuff to look out for and do..

Also...any diagrams or videos on the OCV's for my Lexus?
