1992 ES

The ES 330 should be out later this year as a 2004 model.

I've already voted for my '96 ES, but I'm happy to announce I'm a proud owner of a 2001 ES300 (traded in my '96). Evidence that Lexus is in my blood!

Ooooo boy, I knew someone's gonna ask me that question . The trade-in value was a few hundred less than what I expected to get. As some of you remember, my car had pretty high mileage (128.4K miles), so that alone brought down the resale value in sort of a major way. I kept my car clean for the appraiser, so he was pleased and compensated a little bit on the final trade-in value. It's probably the best I can get from that dealership compared to the rest of the dealerships, especially the Lexus ones!

I bought a 94 w/ 83k for $6,800. The BBV was almost $8,500. The seller told me that the dealer offered him $5,000 for it. He was an elderly man and I fully believe that he was honest.

I traded in a '94 ES w/53,000 miles for a '03 ES and the dealer gave me $8000. Since they deducted that price from the cost of the new ES I actually got $8600 for the car.(Savings of the 8.5 percent sales tax).
