Hi,

Now and then I noticed that there isn't much rich low base sound while listening to music. Just doesn't have that really good quality sound. Then other times I noticed that the music sounds really good and the bass is kicking in and sounding great.

Can the subwoofer function on/off like that? Could it be a cable loose, or?

Sounds like an intermittent connection, check the wires and try cleaning the contacts.

What is the best way to access the wires? Does the mesh speaker cover pop off, or do you access them under the rear deck in the trunk?

Pretty sure you get to it from the trunk

The wires.will be on the underside of the speaker in the trunk.
