I am having a possible starter issue so I started trouble shooting and asked my dad to help me boost my car..The battery didnt take a charge at all. I know its a bad thing to do but with the cables hooked to my battery I clicked the other two ends together and nothing happened. Normally there would be sparks. Before all this I took the battery to Auto Zone and had them check it and they said its a good battery. What do you guys think?

Ouch, dangerous, those things can blow up in your face, please be careful. Next time you try this use a digital voltmeter. They are cheap and safe, and sometimes you can even get one for free at harbor freight with a coupon.

Check it with a dvm next time. Auto zone should have load tested it. You may have some kind of power draining component in your car.
