Default Cold water dripping under 02 es300 car towards middle

Cold water's dripping (fast) under my es300 centerish. The water is quite cold to the touch. Normally I would ascribe this to humidity (which it definietly is today) and the a/c but the location of the drip (it's nowhere near the radiator) has me wondering. Is this normal? My location is usually dry with only occasional spikes in humidity, so I am not sure about normal behavior.

Thanks.

The A/C drain is no where near the radiator it is on the passenger side footwell. And if it is water then it has to be from the evaporator no other part of the car has/uses pure water.

Sounds worrisome. It's closer to the middle/center than passenger footwell (which I assume i would be close to the front-wheel-axle). Guess I'll have to crawl under to get a picture. Aargh.

Thanks for responding.

didn't someone post about a gum wrapped getting stuck into the AC drain hose causing the water to go into the center console frying electronics?

try look for that thread and check it out before something gets shorted.

If I understand correctly the water is dripping outside under your car? If that is correct do not be concerned, especially when humidity levels spike.

Thanks, I checked it out but in my case I wasn't sure what this leak is. Inside of my car is fine.

You and Lexus2000 are hopefully correct in that this is just water from the evaporator/ac-drain. I checked this morning and sure water was dripping exactly from where Lexus2000 indicated the a/c drain should be. However, the water today is NOT cold, just at room temperature. Yesterday, the water was COLD (as in from refrigerator) to the touch. Perhaps my recollection from yesterday about the location (I thought it was near middle of the car) is wrong but what would explain the temperature difference? Btw, today the humidity isn't high.

Thanks again, all.

The water could be dripping on something and then traveling toward the center of the car before dropping.
