The sunroofs on our cars have an option to barely tilt open...what exactly is the point of this? maybe i'm stupid but not much air flows through and it wouldnt help with smoke if you were smoking sooooo

Have you ever tried tilting the sunroof open with the windows open while driving to see what difference it makes?

It serves as an air outlet for which fresh air, drawn in from the windows escapes, ventilating the car.

read how to reset it in the owner's manuel. if you just changed your battery, reset might need to be done. I open mine by itself often in the heat, to vent air out of the car while I drive
