Default newbie ?

Does my soundsystem (stock premium)in my 92 ES3 need to be reprogrammed to work after the battery has been disconnected, and reconnected? Or will it work OK?
Just want to know before it is disconnected for any reason.
Sorry if this is a dumb ?..but I'm new to ES3's

Nice looking ES!

What exactly do you mean by reprogrammed? All the radio presets will need to be reset, but other than that, it should be fine. I don't think there will be any problems with the radio locking up and having to enter a code to unlock it.

Oh, and welcome!

Thanks Nabeel..that's what I meant..it locking up and needing a code..........hubby
had a car in England, that when battery disconnected--had to recode radio..it also
had the anti-theft key logo on it...so that's why I asked..Thanks for the welcome...I love
my new (old) Lex so much...I think I will always own one.

No prob. However, you might want to get a second opinion just in case. I know that people here have had their radios lock up in the past, I'm not exactly sure what caused it, maybe removing the unit from the car will do that. I personally had no problems when I replaced my battery, or when the battery drained completely a couple times.

It should be fine when you switch batteries. But if not the code might be in the manula, like a card or something. But you should be good. Car does look great. That sure is a big picture! lol
