Hello, I have a 2000 ES300 that does not have heated seats. Does anyone know if the wiring would be there even though that option was not installed. I was thinking about adding heated seats and was wondering if i could just find some from a salvage yard that had them and put them In to the existing wiring. In messing around with other parts of the car I have found what look to be like "extra" wires that just seem to dead end and didnt know if maybe they were for other options that were not installed.

In my newer vehicle, the optional rear sun shade wiring harness is present, although I don't have the feature, so I'd say that there is a good chance. You could always check before you go all out. You'll have to find a new center console piece that has the button functionality for them too. Worth a try though. I always thought about installing the sunshade on my car, but have yet to see one for sale lol.
