I was wondering if it's possible to replace the stock head unit from a 1st-gen ES...




... with this stock head unit from a '98-'99 ES...??




Both head units retain the same controls and buttons, though obviously in different locations. I would imagine that this HU change could work w/out any connection problems, unless I'm missing something here. Someone clue me in please

the biggest difference is tha nakamichi and pioneer are the manufactuers
not sure if the sizes are even the same i think th older ones are taller

i had a feeling towards that too, sk.
my grandpa had a '99 (sort of gone thanks to some lady turning in front of him)
but yeah i'm not 100% sure, but i'm pretty sure the sizes are different. (haven't seen the car in about 2 months, so can't be 100% sure anymore)
but i'm pretty sure the size of the center console changed between generations.
