Default Pic request from other 94-96 ES owners

Hey guys,

I just had my windshield replaced and didn't notice until I got back home that the mirror mount looks wrong, but I don't have pics of my previous one to compare. I know I wasn't looking at unsightly bare metal before. Is it missing a trim piece? Can anyone with their factory mirror take a clear pic and post it?

Much appreciated,
Cosa

Default Confirmation then?

No takers on posting a picture eh? Can someone provide confirmation then?
Does your 92-96 ES rear view mirror have a trim piece covering the metal mounting block?

I drove around in some parking lots and found a few ES300s. One was missing the mirror, another had a replacement windshield and also just the metal block. I looked at a couple similar era Camrys and they have a trim piece.

Looks like part of the trim is missing? Here's a diagram of the mirror assembly.

Thanks, that does indeed look the same though I'm still not convinced it looked like that when I took it in.

Thanks, I think you got me on the right path.

Since it is only ~$7 I may order one just to see if it works. I know it shouldn't bug me, but it does.
