Thumbs up

That year ES300 with those rims as well as the other mods look freaking GREAT! Wow. What a difference. I really like the rims. Works very well with the lines of the car. Do they rub at all? What size are they? 18x8 or 18x7.5?

honestly, i really don't like the SC rims......(there's a reason why you were able to buy them...because the SC owner didn't like them either.) no, seriously, they don't look too bad on an ES. they actually look pretty good. i've got 18" Quantum Tek's on my 92' ES and they rub like a bit*h when people are in the back. do the spacers keep your rims from rubbing? i was looking into getting a 1.8 inch drop, but i'm worried that my rims will rub even more than they already are rubbing. when i got my 18's put back on just a couple weeks ago, they said that my rear struts were leaking and needed to be replaced. right now im working on the deer that hit me in the middle of the night. i havent posted pics yet, but i will soon.

the lex goes into the body shop on the 14th and she's supposed to get out that friday (hopefully.). the deer hit the driver's side fender, and then hit the back passenger door (no damage to the driver's side door, amazingly). i've got a $1000 duductible, so it''s kind of a bi*ch to get paid off. i'm also gettiing me hood redone, so there wont be any rock chips anymore, thank goodness. i'll be selling my car bra and mirror covers if anyone is interested (in the Club Lexus ES Classifides).

lemme know if anyone is interested!

Peace!

Curtis

I agree that those wheels look alot better on the ES than SC430, I saw them on an LS too and they looked nice. Kinda surprising since I think they're hideous on the SC, I guess the design just works better with a sedan. Nice car and pics Frank.

Curtis, weren't you the one who went in the ditch in the snow a little while back? Now a deer too, I hope your car gets fixed right and your luck improves. I almost hit a deer last night, she was going into the ditch as I came up on her, one of those moments where I really appreciated the HID's lighting up the ditches real nicely too. Instead of just eyes or a vague picture I could clearly see the whole deer and easily scan the well-lit ditches for any more.

They honestly don't look bad on that car but I seriously hate those rims, especially on the sc430.
I've seen those rims for as cheap as $399/set I like me some chrome Lexani tho!!

I'm not going to crazy with this car, i wanted it to look as stock as possible but still look hot. thats why i put the tint that looks like the RX tint and the wheels...I think the only thing that I might do is paint the black trim between the two wheels. I have an Infinity Basslink I am going to install soon.
