Default 1992 ES300 Oil Level Sensor leak

My oil level sensor connected to the oil pan is leaking around it. It's still working fine, just leaking. You think it's ok to drain the oil, clean around it, and just apply an appropriate epoxy/sealant/liquid gasket?

Thanks for your responses!

Don't apply anything, I never had to deal with ithis on a Lexus, but I'm sure that there is an "O" ring rubber gasket there. That's what's probaly leaking. You will need to change it.

It could also be the sensor itself, but that's less likely.

I tried to find a part number for the gasket/O-ring but failed the diagram shows the sensor but no part number for the gasket. 90430-27001 might work this is for newer models/sensors.
