Transfer contacts fails repeatedly at 197. Help?

Default Transfer contacts fails repeatedly at 197. Help?

I replaced my iphone with a new Samsung Galaxy 5S and switched providers to T-mobile. The transfer of my 224 contacts fails repeatedly at 197 contacts. The dealer tech specialist and I tried for over an hour, even upgrading my phone's software to the latest version, and had to give up because we could not complete the transfer. It's very frustrating because I cannot use voice commands to ask the nav system to phone someone. Does anyone have a solution?

Contact no 197 could be corrupt. If I were you, first thing I would try is deleting that contact and perform the transfer again.

However, why are you posting such a question on a car forum?

Do a Google search using some key relevant words, and you'll probably find your answer.

I transferred contacts from my iphone to Samsung using smart-switch. That's not the problem.The problem is with transferring contacts from Samsung to the Lexus system. As I stated, LExus tech service could not help. I have Googled key words and still no solution. Maybe another LExus owner had a similar issue.

Oops. Sory I misunderstood your question. Can't help you much as I don't have your set-up, but I would still consider deleting contact no 197. It could be corrupt.

Worth a try.
